Modular control equipment with terminal and function modules

The module has two-sided contacts that are electrically connected with one another internally. The contacts exhibit electrical connections for interface of a function module (11), where the function module is attachable on the terminal module. The contacts are provided for a function block (13), where the function block initializes a required functionality of the module. A connecting terminal (14) exhibits a maximum cross sectional area of 1.5 square millimeter. An independent claim is also included for a function block for initializing the functionality of a terminal module.
