<p>The rubber cover used for shielding a moving machine part is frequently protected by an additional cover assembled of individually moving metal strips (1) made of spring steel. Each of the strips (1) is folded twice (15, 16, 17) along parts of its outer edges (13) in order to engage with the adjacent strip (1) but be still movable. It is also bent along the opposite edge (12) forming a sliding lip (9). The front area (5) of the strip is curved (6) with a multitude of cuts (11) along the lower edge (12) for an easier bending.</p> |
