A ventilation fan is provided to reduce size while securing an air path having the maximum area and preventing a noise due to an air flow by rotating an extractor fan with self-driving power of the extractor fan by rotating the extractor fan with a rotor and a stator. A ventilation fan has a housing(2) and an extractor fan(4) rotatively mounted in the housing. The extractor fan has an open front and an open rear, turbine blade shaped blades(10) attached to the inside of a cylindrical body(8) having an air path(6) in the longitudinal direction, wherein the cylindrical body is rotatively mounted in the housing by a bearing combined with a circumferential plane of the cylindrical body. A rotor(14) and a stator(16) are installed at an outer circumference part of the extractor fan and at the inner circumference of the housing.
