The invention concerns a method for diffusing data contained in a computer database ( 2 ) in a form that can be easily transported and handled by a user ( 5 ). The method comprises steps which consist in: breaking down the data contained in the base ( 1 ) into units comprising each a predetermined number of signs; transmitting said units, in particular via a server ( 2 ) and a communication network ( 6 ), to a computer equipment ( 3 ) connected to a printer ( 3 b); downloading into said equipment ( 3 ), in particular via said network ( 6 ), printing software means ( 2 a) for printing with said printer ( 3 b) a memo ( 7 ) in the form of a booklet of four pages. Thus the user ( 5 ) can access online said units, select those containing data of interest to him and command the printing thereof in the form of a booklet of four pages which can be easily carried.
