A liquid crystal medium based on a mixture of polar compounds with negative dielectric anisotropy (delta epsilon) has a gamma 1 (rotational viscosity)/delta n 2> ratio of 6-45 at a clear point of above 60[deg]C and a delta epsilon of =2.3. (sic: this range of ratio values does not appear to conform to actual values for gamma 1 and delta n given in dependent claims and elsewhere in the specification). |
