A locking apparatus of a sliding window is provided to regulate the opening degree of the window by adjusting the installation position with an absorption unit, to operate stably by absorbing shock and moisture, and to increase productivity by standardizing the locking apparatus. A locking apparatus of a sliding window includes a housing formed of a box, an absorption unit(40) detachably mounting the housing to a window, and a buffer unit having a guard plate spaced from the housing and an elastic member inserted between the guard plate and the housing and absorbing shock applied through the guard plate to the housing. The locking apparatus is mounted to an inside of the sliding window, and fitted to an inner window to regulate the opening degree of the sliding window. The absorption unit has a flexible absorption plate(41), a cover plate(42) covering the absorption plate, a compression spring inserted between the absorption plate and the cover plate to apply elastic repulsive force, a screw rod(43) connecting to an upper part of the absorption plate and penetrating the cover plate and the housing, and an adjusting nut(44) thread-connected to the screw rod. |
