A method and a device for classifying foreign materials from the recycled sand are provided to firstly separate the light foreign materials from the recycled sand and to secondly classify the remaining foreign materials by specific gravity and to continuously discharge the constant amount of the water and the recycled sand separated from the foreign materials by an opening and closing valve. The method for classifying the recycled sand containing foreign materials into high purity sand firstly classifies the light foreign materials contained in the recycled sand, secondly separates the remaining foreign materials by specific gravity by putting the sand containing the remaining foreign materials into a receiving tank(20), and controls the discharge amount by automatically opening and closing an opening and closing valve(25) of a discharge pipe(22) according to the amount of the water and the sand containing the remaining foreign materials being received into the tank. |
