A safety crossing barrier of a vehicle for easily changing the driving direction of a barrier bar is provided to move a barrier bar up and down by transmitting driving force to the barrier bar in rotating a motor driving unit, and to cut down manufacturing cost by reducing the number of parts of a driving unit. A body case(110) is supported and installed on the ground, and a barrier bar(160) is horizontally connected to an upper part of the body case to restrict access of pedestrians or vehicles. A driving unit is installed in an upper plate and a side plate to move up and down the barrier bar, and operated by a motor driving unit. Driving force is converted and transmitted to the barrier bar in rotating or reversing the motor driving unit, and the barrier bar is operated up and down. A down-sensor detects the falling angle of the barrier bar and transmits an angle detection signal to a control unit, and an up-sensor detects the rising angle of the barrier bar and transmits the angle detection signal to the control unit.
