METHOD OF PROVIDING PERSONAL INFORMATION BASED SEARCH BY GET_DATA OPERATION IN TV-ANYTIME SERVICE

A search method based on personal information using a get_data operation in a TV-anytime service is provided to allow a client to selectively return metal data suitable for respective users by allowing an existing get_data operation to designate an element indicating the personal information and request the execution of search based on the personal information. A personal information element as an element of a get_data operation is added. A request message of the get_data operation is received. Personal information is extracted from the personal information element in response to the reception of the request message. Search based on the personal information is performed by using the extracted personal information. The result of the search based on the personal information is transmitted by a response message of the get_data operation.
