A power supply device is provided to reduce the size of a dual panel device by supplying source voltages to both first and second display elements, which are included in the dual panel device. A power supply device includes a boosting unit(210), a voltage regulator(212), and an output unit(214). The boosting unit steps up a battery voltage. The voltage regulator controls the boosting unit to step up the battery voltage to one of first and second voltages. The second voltage is different from the first voltage. The output unit supplies the first voltage to the first display element. The output unit steps down the second voltage and supplies the result to the second display element. The output unit includes a switching unit(216) and a voltage step down unit(218). The switching unit connects or disconnects the boosting unit to or from the first display element. The voltage step down unit steps down the second voltage and supplies the result to the second display element. |
