A foldable umbrella frame is provided to effectively support the umbrella canopy and to achieve the strengthened protection effect against the wind by configuring many reinforcing ribs. The foldable umbrella frame comprises: an extendable umbrella handle(6), extended along an axis in an upright direction, and having an upper end(61), a lower end(62), and a central part(63) between the upper and lower ends(61,62); many ribs(3), arranged around the axis in such a manner that they are distanced from each other in different angle directions, and having a first approach(31), a first end(35) which is located in an opposite side of the first approach(31) in a radial direction of the axis, and a folding portion between the first approach and end(31,35); a runner(7), attached to the central part(63), and moved along the latter(63) in a slid manner; and many elongations(4), arranged around the axis in such a manner that they are distanced from each other in different angle directions, and having a second approach and a second end. |
