FIELD: glassmaking industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention consists in preparing potash-containing glass batch and is intended for use in manufacture of electron-tube glass and other glass types. Method of invention comprises mixing components, moistening them with binder, granulation and subsequent drying, said binder being potash, which is preliminarily dissolved in water to form 5-10% solution, which is then used in amount 14-16 wt % based on the weight of the batch.
