FIELD: chemical engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of performing chemical reactions, in particular oxidation reactions in supercritical media-fluids (or solvents). Method of performing oxidation reactions for organic compounds comprises supplying fuel and oxidant through mixing devices to catalytic packet. Thus produced oxidation products are directed from catalytic packet exit to mixing space onto mixer blades and then reagents containing organic compounds and oxidant are added to the oxidation products. Resulting products are fed to tubular section of reactor to complete oxidation, which reaction is carried out in supercritical water. Oxidant utilized is selected from group consisting of ammonium nitrate, ammonium nitrate/air mixture, ammonium nitrate/oxygen mixture, and ammonium nitrate/hydrogen peroxide mixture.
