A method for preparing a facial pack from yellow soil and pine needles is provided to obtain the facial pack, which is able to self-heat, promote blood circulation, activate cell and provide metabolic function effect by far-infrared ray radiation, eliminates toxin, and prevents aging by the action of yellow soil enzyme. The method comprises the steps of: (a) dissolving salt in purified water to obtain a 20-50 weight/volume % salt solution; (b) adding 10-20 parts by weight of an extract of pine needles to 100 parts by weight of the salt solution; (c) after putting charcoal in the solution obtained from the step(b) for 1 day, taking the charcoal out and naturally drying it; (d) putting the charcoal and yellow soil in a container and ripening it for 6 months; and (e) adding gold foil to the ripened yellow soil. In the method, before the ripening of the yellow soil, the moisture content thereof is controlled to be 3-4%, and after the ripening of the yellow soil, the moisture content thereof is less than 2%.
