An apparatus for charging LPG is provided to prevent leakage of the LPG by installing a packing on the inner peripheral surface of a charging nozzle on the rear side of a valve seat. An apparatus for charging LPG includes a charging nipple(10), a charging nozzle(20) engaged with the charging nipple, and a check valve(40) installed in the charging nozzle. The check valve includes a valve seat member(42), a valve stem(44), a support member(46), and a spring. The valve seat member is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the charging nozzle. The valve stem includes an attachment section(44a), a collision section(44b), and an extension section(44c). The attachment section has an attachment surface to which a seat surface of the valve seat member is attached. The collision section extends to the side on which the charging nipple is inserted and collides with the tip end of the charging nipple. The extension section extends to the opposite side of the side on which the charging nipple is inserted. A hole(47) is formed at a central portion of the support member. The support member is fixed to the inner peripheral surface of the charging nozzle. The spring is installed between the support member and the attachment section of the valve stem. A recess(72) is formed along the circumferential direction of the attachment surface.
