A device and a method for absorption of a front panel of a liquid lens are provided to minimize failure rate in manufacturing a liquid lens by sealing the liquid lens with sufficiently spreading the liquid by controlling the descending speed of the front panel. A device for absorption of a front panel(510) of a liquid lens positioned at the upper part of the liquid lens filled with liquid(540) is composed of: a moving unit for moving down the front panel toward the liquid lens; a sensing unit outputting a sensing signal for detecting the time when the front panel is moved down by the moving unit and contacted with the liquid of the liquid lens; and a control unit for stopping the front panel during the time for spreading the liquid on the surface in receiving the sensing signal of the sensing unit and moving down and attaching the front panel by controlling the moving unit again.
