A stainless steel refining method for substantially improving cleanliness of the stainless steel by solving problems such as re-oxidation and nitrogen absorption of molten steel due to the naked molten metal when pouring ferroalloy into naked molten metal in a refining process of stainless steel is provided. A stainless steel refining method for improving cleanliness comprises: primarily injecting Ti into a naked molten metal part within the ladle just before injecting ferroalloy into the naked molten metal part after generating naked molten metal of molten steel by performing an Ar agitating operation in a lower part of a ladle in a ladle refining process of stainless steel; and secondly injecting ferroalloy and coolant into the naked molten metal part to prevent re-oxidation and nitrogen absorption of molten steel, wherein an amount of the primarily injected Ti is determined by the expression, W[Ti]injection amount(g)=0.006(D/2)^2Î(Wmelt/100), where D is a diameter(cm) of naked molten metal within the ladle, and Wmelt is an amount(ton) of molten steel. |
