An apparatus for regulating the angle of a front panel for an AV system is provided to absorb the speed of a rack gear by using the damping operation of a damper gear when a rack is linearly moved. An apparatus for regulating the angle of a front panel for an AV system includes an escutcheon(100), a front panel(110), a rack gear(120), a spring(140), a damper gear(130), a release hook, and a release button. The upper end of the front panel is hinged and slid on the escutcheon. The rack gear is hinged on the lower end of the front panel and is linearly moved forward and backward. The spring presses the rack gear to the front side. The damper gear is engaged with the rack gear and absorbs the linear movement of the rack gear. The release hook is installed in the escutcheon. The release button is installed in the front panel so as to be resiliently engaged with or separated from the release hook.
