摘要 A traveling robot for unmanned welding that enables the welding operation to be conducted at desired position and posture through a combination of traveling and steering by mounting a traveling part and a steering part on a traveling robot, and an autonomous traveling method of the same are provided. A traveling robot for unmanned welding comprises: a traveling robot(10) comprising a first traveling wheel part(11) capable of being independently steered, a pair of second traveling wheel parts(12,13) steered in the same direction, a first steering driver(14) for controlling steering of the first traveling wheel part, a second steering driver(15) for controlling steering of the second traveling wheel parts, and a first traveling driver(16) and a second traveling driver(17) for controlling drive of the second traveling wheel parts; and a traveling robot control part(1) for selecting one mode from an oblique line traveling mode(31), a curved line traveling mode(32), a rotary traveling mode(33) and a straight line traveling mode(34) and controlling the traveling robot such that the traveling robot is traveled.
