An elastic block and pavement are provided to prevent the block from floating on the water in submerging the block under water, to restrict distortion in exposing the block to the sun for a long time, and to protect the block in transporting or working by placing rigid material in the core of the block with the specific gravity of 1.2 to 1.8. An elastic block includes a lower layer(13) made of concrete, an upper layer(11) formed by mixing color rubber chips of 100 wt% and a binder of 5 to 12 wt%, and a meshed fabric of 0.3 to 3 mm in diameter between the lower layer and the upper layer. The specific gravity of the elastic block is 1.2 to 1.8, and the elastic block includes the lower layer and a side(14) integrally formed by mixing 100 wt% rubber chips of 1-7 mm in grain size and a binder of 5 to 12 wt%, a core part(12) made of concrete, stone or steel and placed between the lower layer and the side, and the upper layer formed by mixing 100 wt% color chips of 1-3 mm in grain size and a binder of 5 to 12 wt%. The core part is formed by adding high tension filaments(15), wire, meshed PP or meshed PVC between two layers. |
