A submersible aerator which has an aeration ability as well as an agitating ability, improves aeration capacity and oxygen transfer rate, has an intermittent aeration function, and is simply maintained and managed by constructing a casing of a submersible agitator in a double casing, and constructing the casing itself as a diffuser or combining the submersible aerator with the diffuser is provided. A submersible aerator with diffusion function and agitating function comprises: a rotary vane(3) driven by a drive motor(5) and installed in a casing(4) having an inlet(41) and an outlet(42), wherein the casing is a double casing which is comprised of two skin layers, and in which a space capable of communicating air is formed; at least one diffuser(1) which is installed on at least one of the two skin layers, and of which an air supply port is in communication with an outlet of a blower via the internal space of the double casing and an air supply pipe(6); and an air control valve(8) installed on the air supply pipe. The submersible aerator further comprises an automatic valve(13) installed on the air supply pipe and interlocked with a timer, a dissolved oxygen concentration controller and an oxidation reduction potential controller. |
