Primary and secondary blocks, each including a hydraulic system of pistons and cylinders, receive power from the crank of an engine or other drive source, and amplify and then transmit power to another crank. Furthermore, a lubricating oil pump in a case supplies lubricating oil to the movable parts of both blocks as well as the cylinders of the primary block. Valves open or close the lubricating oil passages leading to the cylinders.
