<p>The system (1) is for cleaning exhaust gases emitted by motor vehicles and comprises a suction mouthpiece (4) for suction of exhaust gases. It has a connected channel (5) in which is a filter unit for gases. The system includes a pump installation for the forced feed of exhaust gases into the channel with the aid of a pressure less than atmospheric via the suction mouthpiece. The channel is installed at least partly underground. The suction mouthpiece is fitted at the level of the road surface and can extend sideways in relation to the road surface in the direction of passing vehicles. It is relatively narrow in the vicinity of the suction mouthpiece, and is provided with external valves for the influence of air currents. The suction mouth piece is covered with a grid (6) with a forged structure, provided with grooves (7), which rests on support profiles (8) anchored in the road asphalt (3).</p> |
