<p>The device has temperature-measuring probes (2a, 2b, 2c) aligned in a single longitudinal axis. The probes are formed by cannulae (3a, 3b, 3c). The cannulae are inserted at specific points in the interior of a piece of food (5). The cannulae move longitudinally in relation to a stop (4), by a transmission mechanism, permitting the movement of each of the cannulae proportional to that of the others. A preset distance is set between a reference surface and the probes, where one of the probes is placed at the surface. The reference surface is a cooking surface (6) on which the food rests. An independent claim is also included for a method of controlling cooking of food.</p> |
