#CMT# #/CMT# The slicer has a frame (1) housing an electric motor driving a circular cutting blade (2), and a guiding element (10) forming a support wall (11). The wall is arranged in an extension of the blade, which is mounted with respect to the frame. A control element (20) is mounted on the guiding element. The control element is moved between a dismounting position, in which the guiding element is retracted from the frame and a working position, in which the support wall is maintained remote from a cutting plane defined by the blade. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Used for slicing food (claimed). #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The guiding element is retracted from the frame in dismounting position of the control element, so as to permit deep cleaning of the slicer. The presence of the control element permits more secure dismounting of the guiding element. The control element is mounted on the guiding element, so that the slicer is easy to use. The arrangement of the slicer avoids the undesired dismounting of the guiding element, and improves ergonomics.
