The chassis has a base (1), rafter (3) and a brace (5) connected between them by permanent hinges (2, 6) and by an opening hinge (4). The permanent hinges comprise captive axles (8) connecting ends of the base to respective ends of the rafter and the brace. The opening hinge has a detachable axle (7) for locking it, and paddle valves are fixed on the brace, where the valves close a gap under solar collectors.
