GARBAGE TREATMENT APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage treatment apparatus the performance of which when drying garbage is improved and the cleaning of which is facilitated.

SOLUTION: The garbage treatment apparatus is provided with: a treatment part 21 of garbage 24; a drying fan 28 for supplying garbage drying air through an opening 23 of the treatment part 21; and a communicative line 34 for communicating the treatment part 21 with the drying fan 28. The drying fan 28 is arranged above a rim of the opening 23 of the treatment part 21 so that the centrifugal direction of the drying fan becomes almost perpendicular to the opening 23 of the treatment part 21. As a result, garbage drying air flows into the treatment part almost perpendicularly to the opening 23 and dries even the garbage 24 near the bottom surface of the treatment part 21. Since the flow velocity of the air used for drying garbage is decelerated before reaching the drying fan 28, a small piece or powder of garbage falls in the treatment part 21 by its own weight and is hardly stuck to the drying fan 28. Since the drying fan 28 is operated in a stable state, the work of cleaning the drying fan is facilitated.
