<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently preparing/isolating an antibody-producing cell with a cultured cell characterized as culturing the antibody-producing cell under conditions in which only a cell producing a desired antibody survives. <P>SOLUTION: The method for selecting a B cell producing the desired antibody comprises the following. The B cell in which a gene construct containing a gene suppressing cell death caused by termination of expression of a specific gene with a signal produced by cross-linking with an antigen of a B cell antigenic receptor on the surface of the B cell, though inducing the cell death by the termination of the expression of the specific gene, is transduced, is cultured in the presence of an antigen for the desired antibody.
