<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier system facilitating the control of respective carriages even if increasing the number of carriages and branches and intersections in a traveling route. <P>SOLUTION: This carrier system combinedly executes the conveyance of works by conveying devices 1 and the carrying of works by the carriages 2, allows the carriages to travel prescribed traveling routes and stop at stations 3 for delivering the works, and delivers the works between the carriages 2 stopping at the stations 3 and the conveying devices 1. This carrier system is provided with branch section storage bodies 11 storing information on the traveling routes of the carriages 2 and disposed near the branch parts of the traveling routes, and reading means 8 provided in the carriages 2 and reading information stored in the branch section storage bodies 11. When a carriage 2 approaches to a branch section, a reading means 8 provided in the carriage 2 reads information related to the traveling route of the carriage 2 from the branch section storage body 11 provided near the branch section, and the carriage 2 enters one of a plurality of branch routes extending from the branch section based on the information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
