<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the deterioration of display quality by closely mounting a flexible touch panel 10 on the display surface of a liquid crystal display element 20 without bending the touch panel 10. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device 1 with a touch panel is provided with a liquid crystal display element 20 where an upper polarizer 23 is attached to the central region of a display surface; a front frame 30 covering a peripheral region surrounding the central region of the liquid display element 20 and a flexible touch panel 10 mounted on the display surface side of the liquid crystal display element 20. Also, the front face of the upper polarizer 23 is formed so as to be projected from the front face of the front frame 30.
