PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a map image in a neighboring range in the same display format as a currently displayed map image. SOLUTION: A control device 105 displays the map image in a predetermined range including a current position of an own vehicle detected by a global positioning system (GPS) unit 102 as a current position image on a monitor 106. When the neighboring map image is instructed to be displayed by operating a touch panel 106a by a user, a neighboring map range determination section 105b determines a neighboring range to the current position image including a road extending from the current position of the self vehicle as a neighboring map in the same display format as the current position image, and a neighboring map image display section 105c displays the map image of the neighboring map as the neighboring map image on the monitor 106.
