PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus with which accuracy in distance display is known, and to provide an interchangeable lens system. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus is provided with a distance accuracy determining means so as to change the display method according to the accuracy. Whether the accuracy can be guaranteed is determined, based on the state of a lens, a diaphragm value, magnification and calculated errors or the like.
