PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide liquid jetting apparatus and method whereby staining of a medium to be jetted caused by mist generated of liquid can be eased, and to provide a liquid jetting controlling program and a recorder controllable by the liquid jetting controlling program. SOLUTION: The liquid jetting apparatus is equipped with a medium conveyance part which conveys the medium to be jetted, a liquid jetting head which jets the liquid to the medium conveyed by the medium conveyance part, a liquid discarding part where the liquid deviated from the medium is discarded, and a controlling part which controls to execute washing processing of the liquid of the liquid discarding part while conveying the medium by a predetermined amount.
