PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an OFDM demodulator, in which the memory size required for temporal de-interleave processing is reduced. SOLUTION: The OFDM demodulator includes: a FFT section for demodulating OFDM reception data to output demodulation data; a demapping section coupled to the FFT section and outputting bit data denoting a result of applying soft judgement to the demodulation data; a temporal de-interleaver section coupled to the demapping section and rearranging the bit data in a time region; a temporal de-interleaver memory which the temporal de-interleaver section uses as a work area; and a demapping parameter judgement section for determining the number of bits denoting a result of the soft judgement. The demapping section is configured such that the number of bits denoting a result of the soft judgement is variable and executes soft judgement processing for the data in the number of bits determined by the demapping parameter judgement section.
