摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particle size distribution measuring device capable of reducing a load to an operator, and avoiding waste of sample powder and grain. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a vibration actuator 32 for vibrating a sample storage body and dropping the sample from a sample dropping hole, a light source for irradiating the dropping sample with light, a photodetector 24 for detecting intensity of scattered light and transmitted light, and an information processing mechanism 4 for controlling the vibration actuator 32 based on the light intensity and calculating a particle size distribution of the sample powder and grain S. The information processing mechanism 4 is equipped with an integration part 43 for integrating the light intensity with two mutually different times and outputting the result, an actuator control part 44 for controlling the vibration actuator 32 so that one light intensity integrated value outputted from the integration part 43 approaches a set value determined beforehand, and a particle size distribution calculation part 45 for calculating the particle size distribution of the sample powder and grain S based on the other light intensity integrated value outputted from the integration part 43.
