PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep high sealing pressure stably while adopting a fitting method for fitting and fixing by pressing disc shape mounting members into a diaphragm opening part consisting of a bead part. SOLUTION: In the air spring, the mounting members 2, 3 are respectively fit into openings at both end parts of the rubber diaphragm 1 in an approximate cylinder shape. At least both the end parts of the diaphragm 1 consist of rubber composite containing short fiber 9. Compounding rate of the short fiber 9 to rubber component in the rubber composite is 0.5 wt.% to 5.0 wt.% to the rubber component 100 wt.%. Compression stress at 10%-compression of the rubber composite is 1.5 to 3 times larger than the compression stress at 10%-compression of rubber composite which does not contain any short fiber.
