PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine work machine without causing starting failure of an engine by being turned into gummy matter of liquefied gas. SOLUTION: A gas engine generator 1 being one example of the engine work machine stores a liquefied gas cylinder for storing liquefied gas, an engine 40 driven by using an air-fuel mixture of mixing air with gas fuel of heating and vaporizing the liquefied gas supplied from this cylinder as fuel, and a generator generating electric power by receiving motive power from this engine inside a case 10. The liquefied gas supplied from the liquefied gas cylinder flows in a fuel pipe 62, and flows in a vaporizer 74, and is supplied to a mixer 70 by being heated and vaporized, and is used as the fuel of the engine 40 as the air-fuel mixture. A removing device 80 for removing the gummy matter included in the liquefied gas is installed in a fuel pipe 62 connected to the upstream side of the vaporizer 74. The removing device 80 has a replaceable filter, and can be inspected and replaced via an inspection opening part 22 of the case 10.
