PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll of a laminated polyethylene terephthalate film for release use, with which a release film for forming a thin ceramic green sheet that is reduced in the generation of pin holes, is produced. SOLUTION: The roll of the laminated polyethylene terephthalate film for release use is the one in which a long, biaxially oriented, laminated polyethylene terephthalate film consisting of at least two layers is wound around a core material. The biaxially oriented laminated polyethylene terephthalate film has a surface layer A and a surface layer B. In the layer (surface layer B) forming the face opposite to the face on which a releasing agent is coated, silica or calcium carbonate particles are contained in a total amount of 5,000-15,000 ppm, the surface layer B has a three-dimensional central plane roughness (SRa) of 20-40 nm, and the layer forming the face (surface layer A) to be coated with the releasing agent substantially does not contain particles and has a three-dimensional central plane roughness (SRa) of 2-7 nm.
