PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a comb blade lathe, designed to be capable of performing machining functions of the lathe, without increasing the number of bites and thereby to promote productivity of machining, curtailment of work handling, and reduction of equipment volume. SOLUTION: With regard to bites 1, to be attached to the blade stand of a comb blade lathe, a plurality of blades 6, to be individually fixed to a shank 2, are formed by means of clamp means 10, and of the blades 6, at least one, for instance blade 6<SB>-1</SB>is structurally affixed to the base unit 4, which is installed on the side face or end face of the shank head portion 3.
