PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating paddle which enables a prevention or mitigation of a fatigue and pain in a waiting and keeping by a hand, and at the same time, can prevent a falling off of the paddle from the hand. SOLUTION: The coating paddle 1 comprises a paddle body 5 and a handle body 2. As a basic constitution, a concave portion 3 is formed on the handle body 2. When a user sandwiches the paddle 1 between two fingers of his hand, he can sandwich it with fitting his fingers to the concave portion 3, and therefore, a spread distance of two fingers can be shortened by the depth of the concave portion 3. That is, since the paddle 1 can be sandwiched at a concave portion 3 position, it is not necessary to spread largely two fingers used for sandwiching to prevent and lighten the fatigue.
