PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably peel recording paper from a belt member, while maintaining high fixing performance in a fixing device that uses the belt member. SOLUTION: The fixing device is equipped with a fixing belt module 61 where a fixing belt 610 is extended by a fixing roll 611, and extension rolls 612 and 613, and which has a peeling pad 64 for peeling paper P; and a pressure roll 62 arranged to press against the fixing roll 611 via the fixing belt 610. The peeling pad 64 is formed to move, while the fixing belt 610 in an area where it passes through the peeling pad 64 draws bending shape different between the center part and both ends in the width direction.
