METHOD OF MANUFACTURE OF CAST-IRON PIPES

The invention relates to ferrous metallurgy. A method of manufacture of cast-iron pipes includes centrifugal casting of hollow billet and its subsequent multi-pass rolling with total relative deformation of 50-90%. Moreover, the temperature of cast iron of billet in the area of deformation at first pass is equal to 0.8-0.4 of the cast iron liquidus temperature of the billet being deformed. At second and subsequent passes the temperature of cast iron of billet in the area of deformation is decreased by 20-60 DEGREE C for each 10% of relative deformation, which is recovered by billet at previouspass.
