PROCESS FOR PREPARATION OF FERROGLUCIN FROM LOW-MOLECULAR DEXTRAN

A process for preparation of ferroglucin from low-molecular dextran involves preparation of stable complex compound of dextran with ferric iron ions, double purification of complex compound with ethyl alcohol, evaporation of complex compound solution to required concentration of ferric iron ions. Atthe stage of preparation of complex dextran compound with ferric iron ions the total time of sodium hydroxide solution dosing comes to 8.5 (+- 0.5) hours, the ratio of dextran: ferric iron ions is 1:0.33 (wt). The purification of complex dextran compound with ferric iron ions is carried out with isopropanol at following ratios: reaction mass:isopropanol as 1:1 vol. (first purification) and 1:1.25 vol. (second purification) correspondingly.
