A method for processing KOH of a carbon nanofiber for a super capacitor electrode active material, and a method for manufacturing an electrode for a super capacitor using the same are provided to use a KOH processed carbon nanofiber as a super capacitor electrode active material by improving a non-surface area of powder, and adjusting a size of a pore. A method for processing KOH of a carbon nanofiber for a super capacitor electrode active material includes the steps of: uniformly mixing the carbon nanofiber with a KOH water solution of one mole to seven moles; cooling the mixture with a room temperature after heating the mixture at 30 degrees to 90 degrees for 1 hour to 48 hours; and after cooling the mixture, acquiring the carbon nanofiber by filtering the mixture with a high polymer filter and drying the acquired carbon nanofiber.
