<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system in which achieving higher brightness is realized by improving reliability of a Peltier module. <P>SOLUTION: In this system, a plurality of Peltier modules 110, 120 are used, and this is provided with a light-emitting members 101, a first heat conductive members 102 thermally joined with the light-emitting member, and a plurality of heat conductive electrically insulated members 111, 121 which are respectively installed between the cooling faces of the plurality of Peltier modules and the first heat conductive members, and which have heat conductivity and electrical insulation characteristics.
