<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of setting the attribute group of paper by such easy operation that the attribute group is correlated with an identifier and the identifier is correlated with a paper feeding device, and setting the attribute group of the same kind of paper without making a user aware of the difference of predetermined attribute by such easy operation that the attribute groups having the different predetermined attribute are grouped, and the group is correlated with the identifier and the identifier is correlated with the paper feeding device; and also to provide its control method. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus 10, when performing image formation processing to the paper fed by a paper feeding tray by correlating the attribute group of the paper input from a user interface part 11 with the identifier by a paper attribute group setting instruction part 121, and correlating the identifier with the paper feeding tray by a paper feeding device setting instruction part 123, a control part 12 controls image formation by obtaining the identifier correlated with the paper feeding tray and using the attribute group correlated with the obtained identifier. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
