<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods for inducing cell differentiation, in particular inducing cell to differentiate into pancreatic system, pancreatic hormone producing cell, or promote differentiation toβcell system, and to provide a method for using the cell in treatment of diabetes mellitus and to provide a composition for the same. <P>SOLUTION: The invention relates to the method for increasing the expression of PDX-1 (Pancreas Duodenum Homeobox-1) in cells, comprising a step providing the cells, and a step bringing the cells into contact with at least one chromatin-remodeling agent in the cells. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
