PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display controller which drives a liquid crystal display element by signal line inversion with lower power consumption. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display controller includes a driving circuit which outputs a signal driving a signal line while controlling its polarity, an inductance element whose current inflow is controlled in synchronism with the control over the polarity, and a driving switching unit which switches and connects the inductance element and driving circuit to the signal line in order. The inductance element inverts the polarity of the signal line of the liquid crystal display element and then the driving circuit is driven to reduce the power consumption.
