PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device that is low in cost, where each voltage rises in a prescribed order, making each component difficult to occur malfunction and is difficult to generate noise. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device is provided with a liquid crystal panel 11 having a plurality of signal lines 17 and a plurality of scanning lines 18, a signal line drive part 15 for driving each signal line 17, a scanning line drive part 16 for driving each scanning line 18, a power source part 13 for outputting each voltage by inputting a power source voltage, and a control part 12 for inputting an outside signal. When the control part 12 detects input start of the outside sinal, it successively makes a plurality of control signals rise with time intervals with respect to the power source part 13, and makes each voltage rise with respect to the signal line drive part 15 and the scanning line drive part 16, in the order described.
