PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a latching lock for locking a shutter curtain which opens/closes a building frame opening portion, comprising well operable and inexpensive latch bars. SOLUTION: The right and left latch bars 8, 9 each consist of a resin engaging piece 18 which is provided at the front end for engaging with a latch support 5b on the side of a guide rail 5, and a bar body 17 which is integrally provided at the base end of the engaging piece 18 and formed by bending a metal plate material. The bar body 17 formed by bending the long flat plate material at both longitudinal ends has a predetermined plate thickness and a rising face 17a to be a long face parallel to the curtain face of the shutter curtain.
